Creating the perfect weight training program

From Google images
Putting together the perfect weight training program really depends on your goals, be it strength or size (hypertrophy), though it isn't really that difficult to be honest.
In theory you can narrow it down to 4 different types of categories; Push, Pull, Legs, and Core.

If you've read any of my earlier posts, you know I'm all for compound and functional moves. So let me try and explain what the 4 categories mean and some great compound exercises for those categories.

Core training

From Google Images
You've probably heard a lot of the importance of having a strong core, no matter what you do, whether it be running, weight lifting, or just regular activities of daily living (ADL).

But what IS the core really?
My goal with this post is to educate you about the anatomy and function of the core, as well as give you some exercises for training your core.

Movescount.com review

Borrowed from http://suuntousanews.blogspot.dk/

In my last post, I gave you my first impressions of the Suunto Ambit watch I've bought, and one of the tools that goes with the watch is Suunto's online training diary/journal named Movescount. Since I've started using Movescount, I thought I'd write a little review of it.
